Greetings, numans! Today we added lending and leverage to our test net app. From a UX perspective, this release demonstrates how users can borrow against their NUMA tokens for rETH or leverage their NUMA tokens in long or short positions. During the test net phase, we invite our community to try out our new app and give any feedback that might help as we move towards the release on Arbitrum main net.
In order to initiate transactions on our test net app, users must acquire Sepolia lstETH tokens, as well as Sepolia ETH. To distribute Sepolia lstETH tokens, we created an airstream campaign on Sablier, which allows all NUMA holders to claim 1 Sepolia lstETH. This is similar to an airdrop, though users must claim the tokens on Sablier themselves. In order to claim Sepolia lstETH, users must first have Sepolia ETH in their wallet to pay for gas, which can be obtained via various faucets. Please note that the NUMA test net token has changed, so you won't be able to use the NUMA test net token distributed in the previous Sablier campaign. Instead, you will deposit your lstETH token to "buy" the new NUMA test net token.
Here are the basic steps for trying our test net app:
Get Sepolia ETH from a faucet, such as this: https://cloud.google.com/application/web3/faucet/ethereum/sepolia
Go to the airstream campaign on Sablier: https://app.sablier.com/airdrops/campaign/0xeac384c26cb489b3fcb9edb6b5df3bddc3522ad5-11155111/
Claim your 1 Sepolia lstETH
Add the LST token to your wallet: 0x1521c67fDFDb670fa21407ebDbBda5F41591646c
Go to the numa test net app: https://test.numa.money/
Deposit 1 lstETH to receive the Sepolia NUMA token
Add the NUMA token to your wallet: 0xf478F8dEDebe67cC095693A9d6778dEb3fb67FFe
Test out lending and leverage!
*Note: it is only possible to open ~4x leverage on short and long positions on test net, because the vault buy/sell spread is 25%, and there are are no LPs on test net to route the transactions through. The leverage strategy of quoting the best price from either the LP or the vault was added in September and will be part of the Arbitrum main net release.
**Additionally, the gas fees on Sepolia are very erratic, so you may have trouble getting transactions through at a given time. Please be patient with this; it won't be an issue on Arbitrum main net.
We invite all NUMA token holders to participate in testing, and we appreciate the support of our community as we move closer to launching on Arbitrum main net. We will have more updates as for the timing of Vault 2.0 launch on main net Arbitrum in the coming days. As always, we invite everyone to join our Telegram group and be part of the discussion!
