Demo App
Greetings, numans! This week we have begun our launch cycle by releasing our new demo app. There are a few reasons we are publishing this: 1) to show a visual of the whole product. We know that the mechanics of our protocol are quite complicated, but the user experience is not. So, we think the best thing to do is to show our users how each aspect of the protocol will work in practice. This should help many people understand more clearly what the numa protocol will do and what they can look forward to seeing. 2) The demo app serves as a visual representation of our release schedule. We have broken up the release into several different parts, and the demo app follows the schedule. The “Dashboard” and “Buy” pages will be part of our first release. Then, we will launch the “Borrow” page. Following that, we will release the “Leverage” page. And finally, we will release the “Synthetics” and “Stake” pages. Our community can refer to the demo app and easily see what’s coming next. 3) Lastly, since we have time for minor adjustments before the full release, we are happy to get any feedback from our community.
What is the demo app?
For those familiar, the demo app is essentially a clickable prototype. This means that nothing is actually functional or connected to the backend. You won’t be able to complete transactions, but you can essentially try out the user experience. So, it’s very important to keep in mind that things like the charts on the dashboard aren’t accurate with real data: there is fake data throughout the demo, and the dynamic aspects aren’t functional. Everything will be made functional as we integrate with the backend. We simply want our community to get a feel for the final product. Access the demo app here.
So, what’s next?
A couple weeks ago, we published our release schedule, which can be found here. Right now, we are working on integrating the new app with our deployed Vault 2.0 contracts on Sepolia testnet. Once this is complete, users will be able to test transactions and functionality on Sepolia. We are expecting to release the Vault 2.0 on testnet in about two weeks, which we will announce when the time comes.
For now, we ask our community to check out the new front end. As always, we look forward to discussion with out community in our Telegram group. We’re looking forward to the next couple of months!
